A Lunch Counter From Yesteryear
When I was a kid, lunch counters were a common thing in the city and suburbs of Los Angeles County.
I don’t know where this one was, but you can tell it was a very long time ago when you look at the prices.
Sometimes when I was visiting my Nana, she would take me to one of these places and let me select whatever I wanted. Or perhaps we would go to the local Five & Dime where I would pick out some cheap toy.
What a sweet lady she was.
