The Iron Beam High-Powered Laser Weapon System

RAFAEL Advanced Defense Systems has unveiled its IRON BEAM 100kW-class High Energy Laser Weapon System, after having successfully completed a series of tests over the last several weeks.

 It quickly and effectively engages and neutralizes a wide array of threats from a range of hundreds of meters to several kilometers and intercepts rockets, mortars, aircraft, and UAVs, with operational deployment scheduled for later this year.

The company works closely with Israel’s Defense Ministry and serves as the HEL National Center for Excellence and the National Lethality Lab.
