Four Wheel vs. All Wheel Drive

I have a 4-wheel drive truck and a Front Wheel Drive car, and I previously owned a Rear Wheel Drive classic car until last year.

Four-wheel drive is fine for dirt or sand, but sucks when turning sharply on concrete or asphalt.

Front wheel drive is fine, but watch out when you floor it, or the torque will make you turn unexpectedly.

Rear wheel was traditional up until recent years, and I prefer it, but feel All-Wheel is probably the best.

That is probably my choice for our next car.
