Try this on someone. I have, and it was great fun.
Go up to them and say, “I’ve got a great knock-knock joke for you, but you have to start.”
After they respond with, “OK, knock knock.”
You say, “Who’s there?”
They are usually dumbfounded, and a hilarious, awkward silence ensues until someone starts laughing.
