The 2nd Amendment To The Constitution

A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Passed by Congress on September 25, 1789. Ratified December 15, 1791. The first 10 amendments form the Bill of Rights

The 2nd Amendment does not apply to semi-automatic rifles, nor does it apply to bolt action rifles, pistols, or revolvers.

The 2nd Amendment RESTRICTS GOVERNMENT!

The technology of the firearm is irrelevant as the restrictions on the government remain the same regardless of the type of firearm.

The 2nd Amendment was not written to grant permission for citizens to own and bear firearms but forbids government interference in the right to bear arms, period.

The right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.
