Shasta County School Children Need Your Help

Our children are grown, as are our six grandchildren.

Three of them attended Shasta County Schools, with the youngest graduating from Shasta High a little over eight years ago.

To my knowledge, they were not exposed to the craziness you see these days, with school personnel pushing critical race theory,  pornographic books for sex education, transgenderism, or revisionary history. 

I didn’t give a second thought to the possibility that such things would be happening now in conservative Shasta County, that is, until I attended a meeting of concerned parents the other night.

I was shocked at the stories I heard from people who have taken the time to investigate the situation.

One of those who attended put together a recommended voting guide and had school board candidates talk to us.

After listening to what they had to say, I believe these people would work hard to bring sanity back to public school education in Shasta County.
