An Alzheimers Poem Leave a Comment / By Gary / July 19, 2024 An Alzheimers Poem Don’t ask me to remember.Don’t try to make me understand.Let me rest and know you are with me.Kiss my cheek and hold my hand.I am confused beyond your concept.I’m sad and sick and lost.Just know I need you here.To shield me from the things I fear. Don’t scold or curse my cry.I can’t help the way I am acting.I can’t be different though I try.Just remember that I need you,And the best of me is gone. Please don’t fail to stand beside me,Just love me till my life is done.
