1940s Drive Along Devonshire Blvd.

Below is a view from an automobile looking at the road behind it.

It was shot along Devonshire Boulevard in the San Fernando Valley on the outskirts of Los Angeles.

Some orchards are visible as well as some houses and fields.

I was born in 1943 and grew up not far from there. Over the years, my parents would take this road to visit a couple of close friends, so this video looks very familiar to me.

When times were much simpler back then, and based on all that is happening in today’s world, we were a lot better off back then, even though we didn’t have all of today’s conveniences and technology.
