Democrat Congressman Talks About Racism In America

A Democrat Representative in Tennessee blasted his party for their stance on riots and for defending people attacking police officers across the country, saying they need to stand up to people who disrespect law enforcement.

On August 12, Rep. John DeBerry gave a speech on the House floor, in favor of a piece of legislation, which would raise penalties for assaulting and or threatening law enforcement officers and rioting, and defacing property,

“Peaceful protest ends peacefully. Anarchy ends in chaos. And what we see happening right now, any of us with any common sense, any common sense whatsoever, know that what we see is not peaceful. So we can continue to fool ourselves and mix with words and use rhetoric and public relations in order to frost this stuff over and put a nice picture on what we see that is… frightening,” DeBerry said during his speech.

President Trump’s Make America Great Again Rally in Latrobe, PA

There are three roads to Arnold Palmer Regional Airport. The traffic jam stretched 1.5 miles into Unity Township, out a mile toward the country club, and eight miles toward Pittsburgh.

The county paper predicted a crowd of 2,000-plus for President Donald Trump’s 7 p.m. hanger stop. There were more than twice that many vehicles in the parking lots and fields by 4 p.m., with some camping out overnight and miles more on their way, slowly passing the Trump signs that decorate every other yard.

The president won this state by a paper-thin 44,000 votes four years ago, and polls show a razor-tight race.

Complete 2020 Republic Convention Coverage

Before the Republican Convention started I checked my DISH guide to see which stations would be covering it live. I was somewhat surprised to see that none of the major networks would be showing each night in its entirety, but rather would be devoting one or two hours at most.

After checking various options I decided to record NBC’s coverage and watch it the following day so I could skip forward to avoid commercials. When I started watching it is was very disappointed to see the talking heads telling me how I should interpret what I was seeing, rather than just showing it and letting me form my own opinion. After watching less than fifteen minutes of their first night coverage I deleted the first night’s recording and removed their scheduled recording for nights two through four.

After searching online I finally found a source that would enable me to watch complete coverage each night, without interruption and No Talking Heads.

C-SPAN provided complete coverage and I thank them for doing so.

For those that haven’t seen it, or want to review parts of it, each of the four nights is available below.
