Gad Saad Explains Suicidal Empathy

Dr. Gad Saad, is a scholar professor at the Declaration of Independence Center for the Study of American Freedom at the University of Mississippi.

He is also a Professor of Marketing at Concordia University (Montreal, Canada), and former holder of the Concordia University Research Chair in Evolutionary Behavioral Sciences and Darwinian Consumption.

In the video below, Professor Saad notes that Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another and is a noble virtue.

But empathy can also lead us astray. In fact, it can be fatal. He then warns how “misdirected empathy” endangers not just well-intentioned individuals but Western Civilization itself.
