The World’s Greatest Drag Race 2016

Motor Trend’s “World’s Greatest Drag Race” is all about the cars.

America was well-represented back then with a Dodge Viper ACR, Dodge Charger Hellcat, Ford Mustang Shelby GT350, and Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE.

Some of Europe’s finest also participated in the race, including Germany’s Audi R8 V10 Plus, Porsche 911 Carrera S, Mercedes-AMG GT S, BMW M4 GTS, and the U.K.’s McLaren 570S,  as well as a Jaguar F-Type SVR.

The Nissan GT-R Premium and the Acura NSX made up the Japanese contingent.

The ultimate question that’s always asked in the World’s Greatest Drag Race is which of these cars can cover a quarter-mile the fastest.

My money was on the Audi R8 because that’s the one I would spend my own money on if I could afford it.
