Six years ago the National Sleep Foundation released its latest guidelines, shown below, indicating how many hours of sleep people of various ages need every night. Their latest recommendation from earlier this year has not changed.
While it didn’t change its recommendations of seven to nine hours per night, most age groups show slight tweaks in the normal range.
When reading the chart below, realize that most people fit into the dark blue category for their age group.
Outliers fit into the teal bracket on either side of the dark blue. It is rare for it to be healthy for anyone to sleep more or less than those amounts.
I have been sleeping so much deeper since taking BriteSmart☆♡☆ from Australia, I don’t wake up when the cat JUMPS on my bed like I used to, even when she threw up on my hand I peacefully got my 8 hours. ugg.
