When I was about fifteen, I had a Lambretta motor scooter just like the one shown below. It was great fun to ride around the neighborhood, but since I didn’t have a license yet I stayed pretty close to home.

I just heard about a new electric scooter that will be available in the near future called the Gogoro. As you can see, things have really changed in in the last ~55 years.
