A Conversation with Judge Amy Coney Barrett

The Notre Dame Club of Washington, D.C., hosted “An Evening with Judge Amy Coney Barrett” on February 19, 2019.

Jon Heintz, Class of ’09 and Class of ’14 J.D. introduced Judge Barrett to the audience.

Megan Wold, Class of ’11 J.D. interviewed Judge Barrett in a wide-ranging conversation about her family and professional life.

Something that grabbed me during their conversation was when Judge Barrett remarked that Notre Dame law school not only taught her a profession but also how to be a good person.

Other than just a brilliant legal mind, I think this interview from last year reveals a lot about who she is as a person.

This is a photo of her family taken at the Whitehouse after her nomination to the Supreme Court.
